The clerks' room is at the heart of Conference Chambers.  It is the administrative centre of
chambers. The clerks are always willing to discuss the concerns that instructing solicitors
and case workers may have when seeking advice and representation. Every effort is made
to accommodate the needs of clients and to match their requirements to the most suitable
barrister or barristers. At Conference Chambers we seek to make sure that the administration
of chambers provides an effective, friendly and sensitive service that can be relied upon.


    Senior Clerk, Carole Paterson

    Carole joined Chambers at it's inauguration and has been a clerk since 1997 and deals with
    all aspects of billing and fee negotiation, practice management and is responsible for the
    smooth running of Chambers.
